Delegation Trip to Ethopia and Kenya
Our director Tobias Adamczyk attended a delegation trip to Ethiopia and Kenya at the end of April, organized by BW International. "We made great contacts with companies and international organisations and met a really interesting group of delegates. All in all, it was a very good fit for our GSC environment," Tobias commented.
There is a sense of optimism: Numerous new housing projects are particularly visible in Addis Ababa. The government has set clear priorities in the areas of agriculture and the agribusiness sector, medicine and the healthcare industry, as well as infrastructure. The planned construction of Africa’s largest airport also
underscores the country’s modernization drive.
A key item on the agenda was the EU Business Forum, during which the Global Gateway Initiative was signed.
In Kenya, the focus was primarily on IT, digitalization, and artificial intelligence. The visit to iHub, a central innovation and startup hub in Nairobi, provided insights into Kenya’s dynamic tech ecosystem. Furthermore, Kenya offers great potential in the field of renewable energy.
